MY First lap in TLE-ICT Subject

TLE-ICT for me is an interesting subject. In here you can learn a lot like creating an account, making blogs, sending e-mail and many more. But for me i enjoy customizing my account. During the first quarter of TLE-ICT, I was so excited because i know that my knowledge in field of computer will be added. In our first day of class we study about the History of internet and i learned that the first internet virus that come out is the worm . I learned also that the word Internet was first comceived in 1962 and Philippines get wired in 1994 and of course there's a lot more we also went mining the internet study the language of the internet o nthe protocol and last but not the least the history and origin of blogs.

For me i was challenge in he part that i was hard up in reviewing during our first test because it's very di8fficult for me to memorize names and dates. I find also difficulties in making essays because i know in myself i am not that good enough. Honestly speaking i find also difficulties in typing, yes because i was so slow and i can't still memorize the places of the letters.

But thanks god i made it. Even though i was hard up at first i find some way to overcome it. Like in our first test i try my best to memorize all of it and also with the essays. and i think i got a good score in our periodical test.

And now again another quarter had come, our 2nd quarter of TLE-ICT. This time i will try to fullfill those difficulties and of course i will enjoy this 2nd lap of my senior life.

Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan

Every time that July comes, our school ISNHS (Ilocos Sur National High School) celebrates the nutrition month. There are a lot of competitions that are held like the foodfest, cookfest, poster and slogan making, oration, jingle and many more. And different year levels and sections are joining. Of course in a competition there is always a winner and a loser. During the foodfest, we, the Maxwell students won the 2nd position. This event was sponsored by the TLE Department and with the cooperation of the STEP Club officers, with the theme “Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan.”

With the theme itself, we can immediately get the thought of it. They say “Health is wealth,” but what does it mean? Nowadays many of us teenagers are using drugs, drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking. But they are not aware of what it can give to their health, some maybe aware of it but still they want to do it or try it. Some that are used to do it is reasoning that it’s their way to forget their problems, to be rebel, and it makes them braver. But they are forgetting that they are starting to destroy their lives and soon they will be addicted on it and it will be hard for them to remove it because it’s in their daily living. As they do these daily, they are killing their selves softly.

But, there is a big but of course, if we avoid these Lifestyle diseases, those possibilities may change. Just keep ourselves busy in doing something like having a sport, joining school activities, programs and seminars, having a good bonding with our family and friends and there’s a lot more in doing these, we should be healthy and strong, so we should eat nutritious foods like the go, grow and glow foods and having a balanced diet. Here, we can get the supplement needed by our body like the different vitamins, protein, calcium, carbohydrate, phosphorous and many more.

There are many ways to become healthy and avoid those lifestyle diseases but I think the best way to become a healthy person is in our hand, the way how we manage our self.

Speak To Me In English Or Filipino With Kindness

Language is one way for us to be determined. Like the Chinese, Koreans, Americans, Filipinos, and others. Using the universal language which is English makes us bind together, when we meet different people in a different culture and everything. But its just easy for us to communicate with them because of the knowledge we have in utilizing the universal language. Here in the Philippines, we also have our National language which is the Filipino. Using the Filipino language, we can immediately communicate with the Muslims, Visayans and others.

But using these two languages, we should see that we are using them with kindness. Having kindness in speaking means a lot, like in business, so that we can esily encourage people to invest here in the Philippines and if we have kindness, we can also attract foreigners to have their vacation here. In communicating, if we dont speak with kindness maybe the one whom we are communicating might misinterpret us. If we possess kindness, our relationship with people would be stronger, of course! A thing, when given with utmost kindness would be harmonious and great.
